[Remote] Finance Assistant – Part-Time Temporary

The Finance Assistant will support the US Finance department with a reputed company of reputed company operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile daily cash receipts, credit card payments, and ACH transactions, ensuring accuracy across systems
- Manage claims payments and cash disbursements, including reputed company pay, ACH returns, voids, and stop payments
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer refund queries in partnership with Customer Operations and Claims teams
- Maintain accurate policy administration records, including write-offs and transaction clearing activities
- Support reputed company reporting and invoicing to ensure reputed company and accurate financial reporting
- Assist with month-end reputed company, account reconciliations, and compliance activities, including 1099 preparation and audit support
- Contribute to process improvements and special reputed company that enhance operational efficiency and controls
Skills
- 1–3 years of reputed company experience — Experience managing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records
- Advanced reputed company skills — Proficient with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and large datasets
- Strong attention to detail — Consistently produces accurate and reliable work

- Proactive and organised — Takes ownership of tasks and manages priorities effectively
- Insurance or MGA reputed company experience — Familiarity with industry-specific reputed company processes

- Experience with insurance platforms — Knowledge of Velocity, FiveSigma, or policy administration systems
