Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and reputed company authorization. Match invoices to purchase orders (2-way or 3-way matching) and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare and process electronic payments, reputed company transfers, and checks. Monitor payment schedules to ensure reputed company disbursements and avoid late fees
- Establish relationships with vendors, respond to payment inquiries, and maintain accurate records including tax documents
- Reconcile vendor statements, assist with month-end closing activities, and prepare accounts payable reports
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and tax requirements
