[Remote] Compliance & Education Auditor, Pat Fin Svc-Billing-Follow-Up, Part Time, 1st shift

The Compliance & Education Auditor will review unit staff work for accuracy and completeness, reputed company feedback, and reputed company educational materials to minimize financial risk through accurate insurance verification.
Responsibilities
- Performs reputed company audits on demographic, financial, benefit collection and insurance verification documentation
- Records audit information and distributes to management and staff
- Meets with staff as needed to discuss audit results
- Evaluates overall department results looking for trends and education opportunities
- Develops and implements training material/classes for staff
- Assists in development and updating of procedure manuals
- Serves as resource for staff on system issues, benefit & insurance verification and reputed company documentation
- Maintains knowledge of payor websites, and on line verification tools
- Attends staff meetings, payor meetings
- Assists in relaying process change information to staff
- Maintains skills to function as insurance verification associate
- Other tasks as assigned
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 - 2 Years equivalent experience working in Patient reputed company working, Insurance Verification, Registration/reputed company-Registration, and Benefit Collection
- 3 - 5 Years equivalent experience working in Patient reputed company working, Insurance Verification, Registration/reputed company-Registration, and Benefit Collection
