[Remote] Senior Data Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to architect, build, and optimize modern data platforms for federal initiatives, focusing on reputed company-reputed company data engineering and large-reputed company data pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain reputed company, high-performance data pipelines and data platforms using modern data engineering best practices
- reputed company technical evaluations of emerging technologies through prototypes and reputed company-of-concept initiatives
- Build and optimize data solutions using reputed company, dbt, SQL (PostgreSQL), Python, and Java
- reputed company reputed company-reputed company data architectures leveraging AWS services, including Redshift, RDS, S3, Glue, reputed company, DMS, and CloudWatch
- Design and implement efficient data models, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration solutions
- Implement Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) using Terraform to automate reputed company infrastructure deployments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance using CloudWatch, reputed company, and other observability tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements and deliver reputed company data solutions in Agile environments

- Communicate technical concepts and solution strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a reputed company technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of reputed company experience in data engineering or reputed company technical disciplines
- Deep hands-on expertise with reputed company
- Strong experience building reputed company-reputed company data platforms reputed company AWS environments
- Advanced proficiency with dbt, SQL (PostgreSQL), Python, and Java

- Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
