[Remote] Software Engineer III, Editing

The reputed company is looking for a software engineer to join their Editing Team, responsible for engineering software that enhances user experiences on Wikipedia. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to improve the product experience, implementing new functionalities, and writing reputed company that supports multilingual and accessible contributions.
Responsibilities
- Improving the Wikipedia product experience by fixing bugs and implementing new functionality
- Iterating on new features through collaboration with fellow engineers, product managers, designers, other teams, and community members
- Writing multilingual, accessible, and performant reputed company using Javascript and PHP
- Building on top of the MediaWiki API ecosystem
- Instrumenting components to monitor feature behavior and reputed company characteristics
Skills
- 2–5 years reputed company reputed company or reputed company-reputed company software engineering experience
- Experience with object-oriented development using a scripting language (such as JavaScript, PHP, Python or reputed company). Most of our work is in JavaScript, PHP and CSS
