The Staff Data Engineer is a senior technical leadership role responsible for defining and evolving the data platform reputed company and enabling data scientists, analysts, and engineers to operate at reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic architecture of reputed company's data platform, setting the technical direction for reputed company, reliable, and governed data infrastructure

Skills

• 10+ years of reputed company experience in data engineering, with a demonstrated reputed company record of driving large-reputed company, org-wide data platform initiatives
• Proven experience functioning at a staff or reputed company level— influencing architecture reputed company reputed company a single team or project
• Deep expertise in modern reputed company data warehouses (reputed company, Redshift, or BigQuery) and distributed data processing frameworks
• Advanced SQL skills and strong experience with relational, columnar, and NoSQL database systems
• Expert-level proficiency in data pipeline and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Dagster) and experience designing for operational maturity (observability, alerting, recovery)
• Strong programming background in Python, reputed company, or Java for data processing, automation, and platform tooling
• Experience in backend development with proficiency in TypeScript, Java, Python, Node.js, and SQL-based RDBMS such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Deep experience designing data models and schemas for both operational and analytical use cases, including reputed company modeling and data reputed company or data lakehouse patterns
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a reputed company field
