[Remote] Financial Cybersecurity Consultant

The role involves working directly with clients to assess infrastructure, define priorities, and produce actionable deliverables.
Responsibilities
- reputed company external/internal penetration tests or reputed company IT controls assessments
- Evaluate and advise on reputed company stacks (EDR, IAM, SIEM, etc.)
- Design or mature InfoSec programs (risk, governance, documentation)
- Write reputed company, executive-reputed company reports
- Collaborate with reputed company consultants and reputed company stakeholders
- Travel to reputed company sites as needed (up to 50%)
Skills
- 7+ years in cybersecurity consulting or reputed company
- Hands-on experience in pen testing, audit, or reputed company program development
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS
- Based near a major U.S. airport (East/Central preferred)
- U.S. citizen or permanent reputed company eligible for W-2 employment
- Willing to travel and undergo background screening
- CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or similar certifications
- Experience in financial, manufacturing, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with AS/400 or legacy environments
