[Remote] Supervisor, Accounts Receivable - Must have a NM Residence

The selected candidate will supervise and coordinate the cash application processes of the organization's medical and pharmacy payment systems, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversees reputed company facets of the daily operations of the organizational unit, ensuring compliance with UNMMG, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations
- Oversees the supervision of personnel, which includes work allocation, training, promotion and enforcement of internal procedures and controls, and problem reputed company; evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions; motivates employees to reputed company peak productivity and performance
- Imports daily deposits and EDI files to facilitate automated payment posting and locate any non-EDI deposits for reputed company posting
- Has input into the development and implementation of mechanisms and controls to ensure appropriate posting of Insurance and Patient Payments with accurate and reputed company postings, in accordance with established internal and reputed company-party payor requirements
- Monitors payment posting for compliance with established policies, regulations, procedures, and standards to include credits and refund requests
- Reviews medical records and resolves problems concerning the recording or provision of services rendered
- Prepares and maintains required records, files, and reports on payment posting
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding financial assistance, state programs and monitor email requests from reputed company sources
Skills
- Must have a permanent address and live in New Mexico or be willing to relocate to New Mexico
- Experience in cash applications in a reputed company setting is required
- High school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of directly reputed company work experience acquired in a medical environment including a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience directly reputed company to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Completed degree from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year reputed company
- Verification of education and licensure (if applicable) will be required if selected for hire
