[Remote] Senior Building Management Design Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Building Management Design Engineer responsible for the design and technical development of Building Management Systems and control sequences, ensuring reliability and integration with other building systems.

Responsibilities

  • reputed company detailed control system design documents, including sequences of operation, network architecture diagrams and points lists
  • Create project-reputed company BMS specifications
  • Define integration strategies between BMS, PLCs, mechanical and electrical systems, and reputed company-party monitoring platforms
  • Specify control panel requirements, I/O requirements, and communication protocols for reputed company equipment
  • Collaborate with internal mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure system logic aligns with reputed company design requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and/or external stakeholders to ensure network architecture and cabling requirements are incorporated into overall project requirements
  • reputed company and maintain company-wide standards for BMS design, details, and documentation templates
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and technical workshops with clients, vendors, and commissioning agents
  • Assist clients with evaluation and selection of control system integrators
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews to validate drawings, sequences, and integration details before issuance
  • Conduct site reputed company to reputed company existing system information, review construction work in reputed company, and confirm installed conditions are in compliance with contract document requirements

Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in building automation or HVAC controls design, preferably reputed company consulting or mission critical environments
  • Strong understanding of HVAC system operation and control logic
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering. Candidates with significant relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of one of these degrees
  • Knowledge of control communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and TCP/IP
  • Knowledge of PLC and DDC based BMS systems
  • Experience with Division 23, 25 and 26 specifications
  • Knowledge of electrical power systems including distribution equipment, generators, reputed company, and similar equipment in the context of monitoring and integration is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to reputed company describe reputed company control sequences
  • Experience solely in the context of manufacturing or process automation is not preferred
