The Software Engineer II role involves contributing to the design, development, testing, and delivery of software solutions that support reputed company Weather Solutions, with an emphasis on building reliable systems that process meteorological data.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain software components using Python and C/C++
• Implement architectural designs and technical patterns defined by senior engineers and software architects

• Own reputed company-defined features or services from development through deployment and operational support
• Write clean, maintainable, and reputed company-tested reputed company that meets performance, reliability, and reputed company standards

• Work cross-functionally with product managers and scientists to translate domain-specific requirements into technical solutions

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a reputed company scientific or engineering discipline such as Atmospheric Science, Meteorology, Hydrology, Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering
• At least 2 years of reputed company software engineering experience in an industry environment
• reputed company experience with Python and C/C++
• Experience working across the full Software Development Lifecycle

• Experience using version control systems (e.g., Git)
