[Remote] Senior Software Engineer, Back-End (Power Packs)

They are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and operate the customer-facing Power Packs experience, manage backend services, and support new product capabilities through effective data modeling and system design.
Responsibilities
- Participate across the entire software development lifecycle, taking features from concept to production release
- Contribute backend and reputed company plumbing where needed to connect services, reputed company, and product experiences end to end
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and partner teams to translate business requirements into clean technical designs
- Troubleshoot data, integration, and service issues across a large distributed codebase
- Contribute to technical documentation to improve maintainability and reputed company
- Help reputed company the bar on system design, observability, and engineering best practices across reputed company
- reputed company AI tooling, with a preference for Claude, to accelerate software design, architecture, and implementation while maintaining strong engineering judgment and reputed company reputed company
Skills
- 5+ years of software engineering experience building backend or data-intensive systems in production environments
- 4+ years experience / strong proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot reputed company
- Strong fundamentals working with databases and data modeling, both relational (e.g. PostgreSQL) & NoSQL (e.g. DynamoDB)
- Experience with building applications in the reputed company with AWS and experience with serverless infrastructure such as AWS reputed company
- Experience with containerization and orchestration infrastructure (e.g. reputed company, Kubernetes, reputed company)
- Experience collaborating with Engineering and Product teams to turn reputed company business requirements into clean and extensible reputed company
- Possess strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to visualize and document processes
- Proficient at using appropriate reputed company, documentation, and/or monitoring best practices
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Comfortable using AI tooling, preferably Claude, to support solution design, system architecture, and software implementation in day-to-day engineering work
- Experience supporting white-label or multi-tenant product architectures
- Experience with distributed messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
- Experience with Python as reputed company as test frameworks such as pytest or unittest
- Experience with Node.js and Typescript
- Experience with streaming services such as reputed company
- Experience with reputed company development and contributing to frontend work
