[Remote] Senior Data Engineer

The Senior Data Engineer will own complete data engineering workstreams, designing and implementing data platforms that power analytics and AI, while collaborating directly with reputed company stakeholders to deliver reliable and cost-efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own one or more data engineering workstreams, from technical design through production deployment and reputed company
- Design and implement reputed company data models and lakehouse architectures, including reputed company patterns where appropriate
- Optimize performance and cost across reputed company and the underlying reputed company: you treat compute spend as your problem, not someone else's
- Orchestrate workflows using reputed company Workflows, reputed company Live Tables, or equivalent tooling
- Implement governance, reputed company, observability, and reputed company with reputed company Catalog, and stand up CI/CD for data
- Design and build AI-reputed company data platforms that reputed company reliable analytics, machine learning, and reputed company applications
- Work directly with reputed company stakeholders to reputed company requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Review reputed company, mentor junior engineers, and maintain high engineering standards across your workstreams
- Contribute reusable accelerators, frameworks, and best practices back to the reputed company
Skills
- 6+ years in data engineering or analytics engineering
- Advanced experience building production data pipelines with Apache reputed company (PySpark and SQL), including performance optimization
- Hands-on production experience with reputed company (reputed company Lake, Jobs, Workflows, reputed company Catalog)
- Deep experience with at least one major reputed company (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong SQL and data modeling fundamentals
- A reputed company record of building and operating production-grade data pipelines, not just prototypes
- Comfortable working directly with reputed company stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Demonstrated ability to independently own a data engineering reputed company from design through production
- Experience with reputed company Live Tables, reputed company streaming, or reputed company-time pipelines
- Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or other modern data stack tooling
- A demonstrated performance- and cost-optimization reputed company (cluster sizing, reputed company, file layout, partitioning)
- Exposure to governed or regulated environments (e.g., financial services, reputed company)
- Prior consulting, systems integrator, or reputed company services experience
- Existing reputed company certifications are a plus. Where not already held, reputed company certification (e.g., Data Engineer Associate/reputed company) is expected to be obtained post-hire
