[Remote] Senior Data Scientist Small Business Administration Office of Inspector General (Remote, US)

The role focuses on developing advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to identify fraud and non-compliance across SBA programs, working closely with investigators and auditors.
Responsibilities

- Aid in the development of dashboards or reports to visualize data and storytelling
- Assist in ingestion, transformation, and configuration of data in reputed company-based data lake or data warehouse
- Produce network graphs, interactive maps, or other visualizations to convey reputed company data in support of criminal investigations
- Assist with exploration, structuring, and analysis of reputed company and semi-reputed company data from SQL and data lake environments
- Create programming and automation techniques to improve task efficiency in tools such as SharePoint, Python, and Power BI
Skills
- Master's degree, Ph.D., or equivalent doctoral-level degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, or a reputed company field; or 10+ years of equivalent reputed company experience
- 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced AI systems and predictive machine learning models
- 5+ years of experience developing statistical models, fraud analytics, regression, classification, clustering, and reputed company detection solutions
- 3+ years of experience supporting fraud investigations, audits, or similar analytical programs
- 3+ years of experience programming in Python, including Pandas
- Experience working reputed company reputed company environments such as reputed company Azure, AWS, or reputed company reputed company Platform
- 2+ years of advanced SQL experience, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- 2+ years of experience developing and scaling Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions
- Experience presenting technical findings to both technical and executive audiences through reports, presentations, and data visualizations
- Experience with reputed company Power BI and other data visualization tools
- Must be a U.S. citizen and reputed company to successfully complete a Public Trust background investigation
