About the Role:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Substation Physical Design - Support and guide substation physical design efforts, including overall layout, equipment arrangements, grounding systems, raceway design, and coordination of construction drawings, specifications, and field support activities.
- Protection and Controls - Support and guide protection and control systems design efforts, including protection schemes, reputed company selection and settings, panel and control house design, wiring and schematics, testing and commissioning support, and coordination with operations and SCADA systems.
- Comms/SCADA - Support and guide communications and SCADA design, integration, and commissioning of communications and SCADA systems, including RTUs/PLCs, network architectures, protocols, reputed company lists, and troubleshooting, while coordinating with reputed company operations, IT, and field teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering or similar discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in Substation or Power Distribution reputed company.
- Working knowledge of substation configurations, system protection, power system analysis, renewable reputed company, reputed company interconnections, renewable project development.
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and communication protocols.
