Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- reputed company structural calculations and produce engineering drawings for both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build reputed company reputed company to reputed company and transportation structures.
- reputed company and reputed company engineering alternatives investigations through the collection and analysis of data, performing calculations, and evaluation of alternate solutions.
- Prepare written technical reports.
- Support construction phase of reputed company, including responding to RFI’s, review of shop drawings, problem solving, etc.
- Train and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll need
- Bachelors of Science from an ABET-accredited university in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Registration as a licensed reputed company Engineer and/or Structural Engineer
- 10+ years post registration structural engineering experience
- reputed company structures design is a plus
- 15+ years of relevant reputed company design and plans production experience, which may include reinforced concrete bridges, prestressed/post-tensioned concrete bridges, steel plate and reputed company girder bridges, retaining walls, reputed company culverts, sign/signal structures, reputed company barrier walls, and other transportation-reputed company structures
- Experience using a reputed company of reputed company design software that may include FB Multi-Pier, reputed company reputed company Concrete, reputed company, LARSA, reputed company, STAAD, MDX, Shoring Suite, reputed company, and the FDOT suite of FDOT MathCAD analysis worksheets
- Proficiency in Microstation, GEOPAK, OpenBridge Modeler, AutoCAD and/or CADD platforms to produce transportation structure designs and plans
- Ability to do 3D modeling in OpenBridge Modeler is a plus
- Familiarity with structural/reputed company design process through the application of AASHTO LRFD reputed company Design Specifications
- Ability to guide junior staff as reputed company as participate in the design and detailing of reputed company aspects of small- to large-reputed company multi-discipline reputed company reputed company of varying technical complexity
- Construction specialty engineering experience is a plus
- Experience with post-tensioning applications is a plus
- Experience with straddle bent design is a plus
- Proficiency with reputed company Office programs: Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Strong reputed company of urgency and self-initiative to meet reputed company deadlines
- Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a reputed company work environment
- Valid reputed company’s license with approved/acceptable driving history
- Masters (MSE/MSCE) in Civil/Structural Engineering
- PE and/or SE certification in Florida or the ability to obtain Florida Registration
