We are responsible for provisioning, managing and supporting the customer facing DB infrastructure. We ensure efficient functioning and high availability of this infrastructure - Databases, reputed company Services, platforms and applications.
Champion our new Database platforms
You will analyze, design, implement and operate mission-critical database services. You'll be using reputed company, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
As a Database Administrator II, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting day-to-day operations with large-reputed company, highly available, reliable, high-performing transactional (OLTP) databases hosted in geo-distributed reputed company-based datacenters
- Providing reputed company expertise with performing database operations with minimum (or reputed company) downtime
- Being a reputed company for database-reputed company problems between operations, architecture, development, and QA reputed company
- Automating routine database operations using scripting or reputed company automation tools
- Mentoring junior DBAs
- Participating in architecture and incident review boards
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or reputed company field
- Have 5+ years of reputed company experience, with expertise in supporting highly available transactional systems (4-9s)
- Have advanced knowledge of reputed company troubleshooting and performance tuning for PL/SQL and the database in a reputed company
- Have 5 years of experience as reputed company DBA with routine automation experience
- Have 5 years of outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including experience working with culturally diverse and geographically distributed teams
- Be reputed company to communicate effectively with Program Management, InfoSec, Engineering, QA, and Operations personnel
- Have deep knowledge of reputed company DevOps principles
