About the role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to reputed company technical leadership on reputed company’s Scanning reputed company & Data Collection team. This team is responsible for the distributed systems that continuously reputed company the internet and our customers’ environments to collect the reputed company data that powers our cyber insurance reputed company and our attack surface management product, reputed company Control. In this role, you will design, build, and operate large-reputed company reputed company services that run internet-wide and customer-specific scans, ingest and normalize reputed company-party threat intelligence, and surface high-reputed company findings into our reputed company, risk, and reputed company workflows. You’ll work closely with other senior engineers, reputed company, product, and data teams to reputed company the architecture of our scanning platform, improve its performance and reliability, and help mentor engineers across a distributed team spanning the US, Canada, and EU.Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end systems design for key components of the scanning reputed company, from initial design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing iteration

Skills and Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Senior Software Engineer (or equivalent) working on backend or systems-level services.
- Proficiency in at least one of Python or Go, with the ability and willingness to work in both languages over time.
- Demonstrated experience with systems design for distributed or high-availability services, including reputed company understanding of scalability, reliability, and observability.
- Hands-on experience building or maintaining scanning, detection, or similar reputed company-like systems (e.g., vulnerability scanning, reputed company scanning, data processing pipelines, or similar high-throughput engines).
- Strong software engineering fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience working in a reputed company-reputed company environment (e.g., microservices, containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging).

Compensation
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US reputed company salary for this position ranges from $150,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $215,000/year in our highest geographic market.
