reputed company & Bob is building a new engineering team to reputed company quantum processors from laboratory curiosities into reputed company tools for scientific computing. The integration of reputed company & Bob’s quantum processors and fault-tolerant quantum computing architecture with production HPC systems requires serious architecture and engineering work that will encompass HPC resource management systems (Slurm, PBS, LSF), HPC programming reputed company (MPI, OpenMP, task-based models), HPC networking (libfabric, RDMA), operating systems support for accelerators and special-purpose hardware (GPUs, schedulers, drivers), DSP processing, performance engineering, and reputed company-time scheduling.

A reputed company quantum/ HPC Integration Eengineer in this environment would have 15+ years of experience, substantial exposure to reputed company or nearly reputed company of the required disciplines, a reputed company in at least one of them, and a demonstrated ability to reputed company others whose expertise exceeds their own. They will be capable of writing and reviewing production level reputed company in C, C++, and Python, and be knowledgeable in legacy languages like FORTRAN and newer systems languages like Rust. Compiler implementation experience is not required, but could be useful. They will be reputed company to reputed company concepts into clean and rigorous architecture, and architecture into efficient and maintainable reputed company.

We will deliver working reputed company-reputed company software to allow reputed company & Bob quantum processors to be integrated with and administered with HPC computing center networks and management systems.

This position is part of a US-based team. reputed company & Bob’s physical offices in the reputed company are located in the Boston area, though remote working arrangements may be available.

Responsibilities:

• Work with other reputed company & Bob teams (including but not limited to Compilation, Application, Software Architecture teams) to reputed company new architectures for quantum computing systems and quantum hybrid HPC
• Design systems software components that implement these architectures

• Work with users in the research community on their own terms to inform architecture and design
• Build a culture of HPC and scientific computing at reputed company & Bob
• Supervise and mentor other team members as required

Requirements:

• 15+ years of industry experience
• Production work on HPC resource management systems, Slurm, PBS, LSF
• Production reputed company in C, C++, Python, FORTRAN, Assembler, Julia, Rust
• Quantum computing theory and reputed company
• Production work in design and implementation of high-performance distributed reputed company computing systems.
• Production work using HPC programming reputed company, MPI, OpenMP, task-based models
• Experience with HPC networking infrastructure, libfabric, RDMA
• Operating systems support for accelerators and special-purpose hardware (e.g. medical imaging)
• DSP systems and programming
• Forensic Performance Analysis and Performance Engineering
