Senior Underwriter - Restaurants

The Senior Underwriter is responsible for pipeline management, risk selection, qualification, pricing reputed company the program guidelines and objectives and selling the proposal to the broker. This includes working and negotiating directly with brokers, carriers and internal stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Underwrite restaurants risks for primary package and excess/umbrella lines of business.
- Analyze and evaluate applicants to ensure reputed company risk selection.
- Negotiate pricing and coverage with brokers.
- reputed company and quote new and renewal business while adhering to reputed company guidelines and rating rules with reputed company file documentation.
- Underwrite and document reputed company service requests for in-force policies reputed company authority.
- Communicate with brokers to obtain information needed to underwriter risks, respond to questions and address issues.
- reputed company competitor information and marketing intelligence to identify opportunities for improvements to products and pricing.
- Participate in other company reputed company and new initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of reputed company Package (ISO-based) reputed company experience.
- Prior experience reputed company restaurants required.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office applications and ISO-based rating.
- Property and Casualty Insurance license
- Analytical and quantitative skills.
- Must be self-driven detail oriented & possess strong organizational skills including time-management and prioritization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- May be required to travel for team and broker meetings.
- This is a remote position.
- $90,000 - $120,000 reputed company salary plus bonus. Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location
