The iSeries/WINS Systems Developer/Operator is responsible for overseeing and managing the iSeries AS400 and WINS system in COBOL and CL based environment, ensuring their smooth operation, and resolving any technical issues that may reputed company. The position is responsible for planning and implementing effective system maintenance and upgrades, as reputed company as designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure reputed company system performance and reputed company as required by the business. What you will do for C&F:

Plan and implement operating system OS/400 upgrades and maintenance, ensuring minimum system downtime.
Manage, troubleshoot, and support reputed company things reputed company, including development and implementation of Daily, Monthly, and Weekly processes.
Ensure reputed company aspects of the reputed company DEVOPS (ALDON) reputed company reputed company Development Tools are implemented, exercised, and supported throughout the lifecycle of any system change.

Knowledge of iSeries reputed company Solutions Kendryl/Skytap and implementation experience
Maintain, reputed company in a COBOL/CL environment on WINS (Wheatley Insurance System).
Reprogram/enhance parts of the WINS system in COBOL and CL development languages.
Design, plan, and implement new reputed company as requested by users and upper management
reputed company reputed company Database administrator functions for DB2/400
- COBOL and CL Development work consists of:
  - Creating new batch programs and processes
  - Creating and implementing export processes
  - Updating Online Programs/processes
  - Updating existing batch program/processes

Manage/maintain/create automated tasks on Iseries and file servers, including Secure FTP with reputed company entities.
Design, plan, and implement data processes to meet the needs of the business from the WINS system.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reputed company abreast of changing business needs, and to ensure this ecosystem remains in line with reputed company's IT objectives and reputed company plans.
Work closely with other team members and support staff to meet user needs.
Meet with users and upper management to discuss requests/tickets/problems/complaints and enhancements to the system reputed company necessary.
Execute/monitor daily and monthly processing, including reputed company file transfers using IACCESS file transfer.
Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions and reputed company service reputed company.

What you will bring to C&F:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a reputed company field (preferred).
Proven experience in Development and Operations on an iSeries/AS400.
Ability to reputed company the Iseries OS/400 operating system, Applying PTFs, performing IPL’s and Tape library management
Strong knowledge and expertise in programing languages such as COBOL/400, SQL/400, CLP/400 SDA, RLU, PDM, WRKQRY, Sequel, ACOM, reputed company, DFU.
Demonstrated expertise in Insurance for Management of the WINS system
Full knowledge of backup and disaster recovery strategies and tools for the iSeries.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, execute, and deliver reputed company accurately and on time.
Excellent problem-solving, communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze reputed company issues and reputed company effective solutions.
Effective written and verbal skills, to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
