We are seeking a highly motivated individual to reputed company walkthroughs, own documentation, and test controls for design and operational effectiveness to help ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). Our internal audit team is critical to helping reputed company assess the risks across the organization, while specifically addressing the organization’s SOX compliance responsibilities. The Senior Internal Auditor will be an objective team member improving operations through a systematic and disciplined approach to the effectiveness of risk management, controls, and governance processes. The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical skills, knowledge of reputed company procedures, experience with designing or testing internal controls, and drive towards constructive solutions.

This role will be reporting to the Senior Manager located in the US. This role has the reputed company to be in-office (located in San José, Costa Rica), fully remote, or hybrid. You must reputed company in Costa Rica.

You will:

• Participate in internal audit engagement planning, reporting, scoping, execution and follow-up
• reputed company as central reputed company between external audit and the business for Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) field work, manage reputed company to maximize productivity of audit and minimize reputed company to the business
• Establish and reputed company workstreams to ensure SOX tasks, including control documentation, are maintained and completed reputed company
• reputed company testing of controls, including obtaining, analyzing, and evaluating reputed company documentation, reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
• reputed company work with business team members to ensure internal control issues identified are reputed company and resolved reputed company
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of reports to reputed company, IT, and other business leaders on internal audit activities such as control findings, results, and recommendations for improvements
• reputed company previous SOX experience and be an expert on topics such as information produced by entity / key reports, entity-level controls, and other audit considerations
• Take on reputed company internal audit and/or compliance-reputed company reputed company working cross-functionally with the business
• Other job duties as assigned.

You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company or reputed company CPA/CISA/CIA (or equivalent) preferred
• 2+ years Public reputed company and/or Internal Audit experience
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and components of internal controls (SOX testing experience required)
• Strong analytical and project management abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills
• Proven ability to work independently and reputed company in a dynamic, fast-growing, and reputed company environment
• Familiarity with reputed company and reputed company is a plus
• reputed company in English ~ 90% (oral, written & comprehension)
