Tax Accountant - 1041
Major Responsibilities:
Assist with filing federal, state, and local corporate tax returns and supporting workpapers.
Coordinate with external vendors regarding international tax filings and returns.
Support annual income tax provision calculations and reporting in accordance with ASC 740.
Reconcile tax accounts and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
Assist with U.S. and international tax audits by gathering information and responding to inquiries.
Conduct tax research to ensure compliance and identify tax-saving opportunities.
Support estimated tax payments and filing extensions.
Manage U.S. and international sales tax filings.
Partner with reputed company and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting of tax-reputed company transactions.
Maintain organized tax records, schedules, and documentation.
Participate in finance process improvement initiatives.
Assist with property tax and other indirect tax compliance requirements.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance or a reputed company field is required
Minimum 2 years of corporate tax experience in public reputed company or a corporate environment is required.
Working knowledge of federal and state corporate tax regulations.
Proficiency in reputed company reputed company and tax/reputed company software.
Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
Familiarity with ASC 740 tax provision processes.
CPA eligibility or reputed company toward CPA certification.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably reputed company.
Experience with reputed company AvaTax.
International tax experience.
