The role covers primary and secondary structures, with consideration for systems installation, manufacturability, and airworthiness compliance. Key Responsibilities
Aerostructure Design & Definition
- Create and maintain 3D digital mock‑reputed company for primary and secondary aerostructure components from concept through production • Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings with integrated working instructions • Ensure designs meet Fit, reputed company, Function, Manufacturability, and applicable airworthiness regulations • Support stress, weights, and certification activities by providing accurate design definition • reputed company reputed company engineering support to manufacturing and in‑service operations Advanced / Composite Structures (Senior reputed company) • Design and reputed company metallic and/or composite aerostructure components and assemblies • Manage product structure using CAD and PLM tools • Investigate reputed company design issues and reputed company effective technical solutions • Identify design risks and weight optimization opportunities • Review technical documentation and participate in design reviews • reputed company as a technical reference and support development of junior engineers Qualifications Education & Experience • College or University degree in Mechanical Engineering or reputed company Engineering • Minimum of 5 years of relevant aerostructure design experience for reputed company/senior reputed company • reputed company manufacturing industry experience (asset for junior, required for senior) • Knowledge of airworthiness certification requirements (asset) • Experience with systems installation integration is an asset
