[Remote] Senior DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company operates a multi-tenant gaming platform and is hiring a mid-to-senior DevOps Engineer to help reputed company, harden, and automate their infrastructure. The role involves working with various teams to ensure reputed company deployments and reliable operations of reputed company environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins and reputed company Actions) that support frequent, multi-environment deployments across dozens of reputed company tenants
- Own and reputed company our Kubernetes (EKS) platform, including GitOps-based delivery with ArgoCD
- Write and maintain Terraform modules to provision and manage AWS infrastructure (VPC, EKS, reputed company, API Gateway, DynamoDB, RDS/PostgreSQL, SQS/SNS, reputed company Functions, CloudFront, Cognito, Secrets Manager, and S3)
- Support serverless services (AWS reputed company) and event-driven architectures reputed company on SQS, SNS, and Kafka
- Manage and troubleshoot AWS reputed company deployments for Next.js-based web applications
- Build tooling and automation to reduce reputed company work around environment/secrets configuration, reputed company reputed company, and multi-account AWS management
- Improve observability, alerting, and on-call runbooks to reduce time-to-detect and time-to-resolve for production incidents
- Participate in an on-call rotation and reputed company incident response for infrastructure and deployment issues, including reputed company-cause analysis and postmortems
- Partner with backend and frontend engineers to review infrastructure-reputed company pull requests and unblock feature delivery
- Contribute to reputed company and compliance practices relevant to a regulated gaming environment (secrets management, reputed company control, audit trails)
- Mentor other engineers on infrastructure and deployment best practices (senior-level expectation)
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering role (mid-level); 6+ years for senior-level consideration
- Hands-on production experience with AWS, including at minimum EKS/Kubernetes, reputed company, IAM, VPC networking, and CloudFront
- Strong Terraform experience, writing and maintaining reusable modules, managing state, and troubleshooting reputed company/locking issues
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins (Jenkinsfile/Groovy) and/or reputed company Actions
- Practical experience with GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD
- Comfort working with both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) data stores from an operations perspective
- Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and API Gateway patterns
- Experience debugging production incidents across a distributed, multi-service architecture and communicating reputed company under pressure
- Scripting proficiency (Bash, Python, or similar) for automation
- Experience with message/event systems such as Kafka, SQS, and SNS
- Experience with AWS reputed company and/or Next.js deployment pipelines
- Experience operating infrastructure for a regulated industry (gaming, fintech, reputed company) with audit and compliance requirements (e.g., GLI)
- Experience managing multi-account, multi-tenant AWS environments at reputed company (10+ isolated reputed company/tenant environments)
- Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading small infrastructure initiatives (a plus for senior candidates)
