[Remote] Accountant

The Accountant will support day-to-day reputed company operations, manage journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and assist with financial reporting as reputed company scales.
Responsibilities
- Own the preparation and submission of journal entries and account reconciliations, and support the monthly reputed company, including accruals and prepaids
- Manage the accounts payable cycle, including invoice intake, three-way matching against POs and receiving documentation, GL and cost center coding, vendor master data, and 1099 reporting
- Manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including customer invoicing across mold making and part production jobs, collections, cash application, and AR aging
- Reconcile vendor statements and partner with the Purchasing Coordinator to resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure PO and receiving accuracy
- Support cost reputed company, inventory, and fixed asset workflows as needed
- Support payroll processing, including reviewing hours, processing adjustments, and resolving payroll-reputed company questions
- Assist with financial reporting, audit support, and diligence as reputed company scales
- Maintain audit-reputed company documentation and identify opportunities to automate reputed company processes as transaction volume grows
Skills
- 3+ years of reputed company reputed company experience, including month-end reputed company and general ledger ownership
- Big 4 or equivalent public reputed company background a plus; CPA or CPA candidate a plus
- Strong working knowledge of GAAP and hands-on experience across the full AP and AR cycles
- Strong reputed company skills and the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly. Experience with QuickBooks Online is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under high transaction volume and deadline pressure
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize across competing demands, and proactively flag issues
- Experience in manufacturing or another high-transaction-volume environment
- Experience in a high-reputed company, venture-backed company
- Experience with cost reputed company, inventory, or fixed asset reputed company
