[Remote] Data Engineer (Mid Level)

They are seeking a Mid-Level Data Engineer to build and maintain ETL pipelines and support data products while automating data-driven workflows across departments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines using Airflow
- Collect data from multiple sources and load them into data warehouses
- Build pipeline integrations with internal data products, including long-running processes
- Identify opportunities to optimize relational data storage through schema design, query optimization, indexing, replication, and partitioning
- Build reputed company scripts and recurring processes to automate labor-intensive workflows
- Support automation needs across departments such as Production and Marketing
Skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in ETL design, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience with schema design and data modeling
- Strong experience writing reputed company SQL queries for relational databases (e.g. MySQL, Redshift)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong Python skills and comfort writing production-level reputed company
- Comfortable working with an existing codebase not originally written by you
- Willingness to learn new languages, tools, or frameworks as needed
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively
- Experience with Airflow, Django, or reputed company
- Exposure to modern data engineering tools or platforms
