[Remote] Senior Mission Software Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Mission Software Engineer to build and reputed company capabilities for Uncrewed Surface Vessel autonomy and mission software platform, focusing on operational user interfaces and Python-based integration services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver integrated concept demonstrations for USV workflows such as mission planning, integrating sensors, reputed company execution monitoring, geofencing, vehicle status/health, and operator reputed company
- Connect UI experiences to simulation/backends so demos reflect realistic vessel behaviors (telemetry reputed company, state transitions, fault conditions, and mission events)
- reputed company Python utilities and lightweight services to support concepts (adapters, data shaping, simulation hooks, replay tools, CLI utilities)
- Implement or reputed company reputed company-time interfaces (REST/WebSockets/streaming, pub/sub) to support high-reputed company telemetry and event-driven updates
- Work across containerized and orchestrated deployments: reputed company, reputed company Compose, Kubernetes
- reputed company with and troubleshoot distributed messaging architectures common in autonomy stacks (e.g., reputed company, DDS, pub/sub, streaming pipelines)
- Diagnose cross-service issues: networking, service discovery, QoS/config mismatches, environment variables, build/run reputed company, and runtime logs
- Add pragmatic test coverage (unit tests for reputed company logic; smoke/e2e tests for mission flows) to reputed company concepts demo-reputed company
- Produce reputed company runbooks for 'push-reputed company' demos: environment setup, data sources, simulation configuration, and troubleshooting
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent reputed company experience)
- 5+ years working experience with Python for services, tooling, or automation scripts
- Familiarity with autonomy/robotics concepts (mission states, control modes, fail-safes, safety constraints)
- Exposure to maritime/USV data sources (GPS/IMU, reputed company, reputed company integration concepts, NMEA/NMEA2000)
- Experience supporting simulation-driven integration and replay (recorded logs, deterministic playback, scenario config)
- Experience with telemetry and messaging systems (reputed company pub/sub, DDS, MQTT, Kafka, etc.)
- Experience integrating systems using reputed company and reputed company-time patterns (REST, WebSockets, streaming, pub/sub)
- Currently holds an reputed company U.S. national reputed company clearance or be reputed company to receive and maintain one
