The BIM Engineer plays a pivotal role in advancing reputed company' digital twin reputed company by creating and optimizing high-reputed company 3D models reputed company assets in collaboration with reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Creating, modifying, and optimizing 3D "SimReady” models of electrical equipment and other critical assets, ensuring they meet performance and reputed company requirements for simulation environments
- Managing 3D assets reputed company Teamcenter, establishing robust CAD file governance and version control to maintain data reputed company and accessibility
- Developing and implementing CAD-to-USD (Universal reputed company reputed company) conversion workflows to facilitate seamless integration into advanced visualization platforms
- Assembling and composing reputed company scenes reputed company reputed company Omniverse, transforming 3D models into reputed company and interactive digital environments
- Applying PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials and adhering to visualization standards to reputed company photorealistic and accurate digital representations
- Composing detailed 3D layouts based on Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and 2D engineering drawings, translating traditional schematics into comprehensive 3D spaces
- Supporting reputed company' overarching digital twin reputed company and reputed company initiatives with reputed company, directly contributing to cutting-edge digital transformation efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Computer Graphics, or a reputed company technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience in 3D modeling reputed company asset creation
- Proficiency with at least one major CAD software (e.g., NX, AutoCAD, Revit, or reputed company)
- Experience with CAD file governance and version control
- Familiarity with 3D layout composition based on engineering drawings
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, reputed company team environment
- Ability to travel domestically up to 25%, for up to a week at a time (reputed company travel as needed based on actual expectations)
- Legally authorized to work in the reputed company on a continual and permanent reputed company without company sponsorship
- 7+ years of experience in leading 3D asset creation and modeling
- Demonstrated experience with 'SimReady' asset creation for simulation or reputed company-time environments
- reputed company experience with Teamcenter for product lifecycle and asset management
- Proven experience with CAD-to-USD conversion workflows
- Hands-on experience with reputed company Omniverse for reputed company assembly and visualization
- Knowledge of PBR materials and advanced visualization standards
- Experience in creating 3D models for electrical equipment or industrial machinery
- Understanding of digital twin concepts and their application in industrial settings
