[Remote] Business Analyst (Insurance Domain) -Senior

The role involves analyzing actuarial reports, instructing developers, performing reputed company assurance testing, and coordinating user testing and acceptance signoff.
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing (mostly reputed company+SQL) actuarial reports /measures and instruct developers on how to replace these reports reputed company our reputed company Data Warehouse. This may include:
- Clarification on key calculations and analysis of the underlying data
- In some circumstances, development of requirements documentation and acceptance reputed company
- reputed company reputed company Assurance (QA) testing to validate that new reports/measures meet requirements. This may include:
- Validation that the data the report produces matches the expected results
- Assistance with troubleshooting issues through data analysis
- Coordinate and own User Testing and Signoff
- Responsible for coordination of acceptance testing through signoff
Skills
- Bachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field
- Prior knowledge and experience with actuarial/reserving reporting processes
- Ability to quickly understand firm's calculations, data and processes
- Knowledge and experience with reinsurance
