[Remote] Sourcing Consultant (Contractor)

They are seeking a Sourcing Consultant to improve event kits by researching and sourcing materials, with an emphasis on efficiency, waste reduction, and cost control.
Responsibilities
- Working with our Operations team to learn our event kits and help identify procurement reputed company for materials that can be reputed company more reputed company
- Researching and liaising with prospective suppliers that can meet reputed company’s specific reputed company in terms of reputed company, quantity, delivery, and cost of materials
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, ordering samples, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions
- Ensure vendor and product reputed company assurance
- reputed company best practices for sourcing and managing perishables
- reputed company regular updates, analysis, and recommendations to the Operations team
- Advise Operations team on best practices, vendor management, negotiations and ensuring compliance with reputed company laws, policies, procedures, and regulations
Skills
- 5+ years in sourcing, procurement and purchasing, especially in China
- Experience with sourcing and managing perishable goods is required
- Strong knowledge of the procurement market, supply chain, trends and processes
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus a comfortability with negotiation
- A self-starter with the ability to work in reputed company environment. Strong skills in the areas of organization, time management, efficiency, and attention to detail are a must
- This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable with a little bit of reputed company and ambiguity, who loves building things from the ground up and scaling them
- Experience working in Alibaba is strongly preferred
- Experience with international shipping is strongly preferred
- Experience working with 3PLs is a plus
- Experience working with small reputed company is a plus
