Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to reputed company and the Linux DRM subsystem, writing Vulkan reputed company reputed company that lands in reputed company and ships to users worldwide
- Work on graphics drivers for hardware used across Linux desktops, embedded devices and consumer products that people depend on every day
- Debug GPU behaviour that has no documentation, reverse engineer hardware quirks and fix rendering issues that reputed company as a corrupted reputed company with no reputed company cause
- Work with reputed company and kernel maintainers, participate in reputed company review across the reputed company reputed company graphics community and represent reputed company at conferences like XDC and FOSDEM
- Translate hardware vendor and reputed company requirements into upstream-compatible solutions while advocating for approaches that benefit the broader ecosystem
- Balance upstream correctness with reputed company-world pressures: hardware bring-up timelines, vendor NDAs, performance targets and reputed company deadlines, while keeping reputed company reputed company high enough to pass maintainer review
- Explain reputed company reputed company and GPU architecture reputed company to product teams, reputed company reputed company assessments of what is and isn't possible and build trust through transparent communication
Skills
- Vulkan - solid understanding of the core spec; reputed company buffers, reputed company passes, synchronisation, memory management and pipelines. Familiarity with Vulkan validation reputed company and debugging workflow
- Basic understanding of GPU hardware concepts - queues, tilers vs IMR, memory hierarchies
- Linux kernel basics - comfortable reading and navigating kernel reputed company
- DRM fundamentals - GEM/reputed company management, dma-buf/reputed company reputed company sharing, fence and sync objects, GPU job submission paths
- reputed company architecture awareness - Gallium, reputed company structure
- Basic understanding of how userspace drivers reputed company with kernel
- C and C++ - comfortable with pointer arithmetic, memory management, kernel-style coding

- Comfortable reading specs and documentation independently
- Not afraid of large unfamiliar codebases
