[Remote] Fall 2026 Legal Intern, State Supreme Court Initiative
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. The reputed company is seeking a Fall Legal Intern for their State Supreme Court Initiative at their National office in reputed company or Washington DC. The intern will be responsible for research and writing reputed company relating to litigation in state supreme courts, including drafting memoranda and conducting legal research.
Responsibilities
- Draft memoranda, motions, and portions of briefs
- Conduct legal and factual research concerning issues and cases in multiple state supreme courts
- reputed company cases and issues of interest to the SSCI
- Center principles of equity, inclusion, and belonging in reputed company work, embedding the values in program development, policy application, and organizational practices and processes
Skills
- Currently matriculated legal reputed company
- Based in the U.S. for the entire duration of the internship
- Completed at least one year of law school before the internship commences
- Excellent research skills, including by conducting internet searches and using Westlaw, PACER, and other law-reputed company databases
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and in writing, and both in-person and reputed company teleconferencing services
- Attention to detail, organization, time management, and deadlines
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite
