The AVP State Product Management role involves managing a portfolio of states, providing expert product and regulatory knowledge, and influencing product reputed company across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for establishing strategic reputed company and implementing business plans to reputed company profit and reputed company targets in portfolio of states
- Manage, mentor and reputed company state managers and other staff
- Prioritize state insurance product initiatives and manage allocation of team resources
- Influence direction of countrywide product and operational initiatives
- Project premium and loss reputed company for portfolio of states in consideration of planned actions
- P&L ownership of one or more reputed company state(s)
- May be responsible for launching a new state
- Serve as product and regulatory expert to State Product Management and other teams
- Monitor the market conditions and competitive, legislative and regulatory environments in portfolio of states to identify emerging threats and opportunities and recommend plans for responding
- Investigate and resolve potential compliance issues

Skills
- Substantial knowledge of the personal auto insurance product, including coverage, reputed company, operations, pricing and the insurance regulatory system

- Experience managing relationships with upper management and with technical roles
- Proven reputed company record managing insurance product performance, including one or more reputed company states
- Experience managing, mentoring and developing people

- Certifications such as FCAS/ACAS or CPCU are a plus
