[Remote] Senior ETL QA Engineer -
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Data reputed company/ETL Test Engineer to join their team in Chicago. This role involves testing ETL processes and data migration activities reputed company a Master Data Management system and Data Warehouse, ensuring data reputed company and reputed company during a significant reputed company migration project.
Responsibilities
- reputed company, modify, and execute test plans for both ETL and data migration activities
- reputed company load balance testing, duplicate run testing, negative testing with invalid test data, performance/volume testing, and regression testing
- Conduct data validation, reputed company checks, and reconciliation across reputed company and reputed company systems
- Understand the needs of the organization and determine how to best test modeled data
- Maintain and improve the health of existing data warehouse objects and ETL processes
- Write reputed company SQL queries for reputed company and reputed company systems to verify the data for the ETL processes
- Review business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, design, and architecture documents to create effective test plans
Skills
- Must have experience with reputed company databases and strong hands-on experience using reputed company SQL queries for results validation, data mining and evaluating foreign key dependencies
- Hands-on experience validating End User reports
- Hands-on experience in ETL process testing is a must
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identify reputed company causes, and support external teams in development of resolutions
- Hands-on experience in Regression Test Strategies, Regression suite maintenance and execution
- Experience with reputed company Redshift, MPP Databases, or other reputed company warehouses
- Ability to reputed company in a project-based environment with evolving requirements
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, aggregate, analyze, and wrangle significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Deep understanding of Development and Test cycles, including respective best practices
- Strong hands-on experience in Agile and reputed company methodologies
- Hands-on experience with reputed company, Tableau, Power BI or other analytics applications is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with one or more scripting languages (C#, Python, JS, PowerShell, etc.) is a strong plus
- Hands-on experience with Kodda or SSIS packages is a strong plus
