[Remote] DevOps Engineer IV — CI/CD Pipeline & reputed company

They are seeking a DevOps Engineer IV who will serve as a senior individual contributor and technical leader, responsible for designing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, mentoring other engineers, and driving improvements in DevOps processes across the program.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines in reputed company CI and Jenkins with build-once promotion patterns, fail-fast verification, and automated rollbacks across dev, staging, and production
  • Create and maintain shared deployment tooling, reusable reputed company CI templates, and Terraform modules that 5+ AppDev delivery teams consume as self-service infrastructure
  • Maintain reputed company, secure reputed company reputed company images for Java, Python, and Angular applications; reputed company containers on AWS reputed company, EKS, or Fargate with reputed company-downtime patterns
  • Enforce pipeline reputed company and reputed company gates (Trivy container scanning, SonarQube static analysis, reputed company Policy Agent policy-as-reputed company) at the reputed company/reputed company stage
  • Mitigate over-privileged IAM configurations using least-privilege standards without disrupting reputed company production services
  • reputed company the roadmap for and implement DORA metrics (Deployment Frequency, Change reputed company Time, Change Failure reputed company, MTTR) in the program's CI/CD capabilities
  • Author and maintain runbooks, deployment documentation, and architecture documentation; reputed company knowledge-transfer sessions with engineering teams
  • Participate in reputed company ceremonies including PI planning, dependency management, and CI/CD roadmap development
  • Support reputed company efforts by evaluating homework assignments and potentially assisting with interviews

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must meet federal suitability requirements and pass a background investigation as a condition of employment
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform (or similar IaC), and Git/reputed company in production environments
  • Experience supporting 5 or more engineering teams from a shared DevOps/platform function
  • Demonstrated experience designing and building CI/CD pipelines in reputed company and/or Jenkins, including reputed company and reputed company gates
  • Strong working knowledge of containerization using reputed company and orchestration on AWS reputed company/EKS/Fargate
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices including SAST, dependency scanning, and automated vulnerability remediation
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills; comfortable in a highly reputed company Agile/reputed company environment
  • Deep expertise designing reusable CI/CD templates and Terraform module libraries consumed by multiple teams
  • Prior work in federal environments or familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, or ATO processes
  • Experience supporting reputed company or scaled Agile delivery teams as a platform or infrastructure provider
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes or comparable container orchestration platforms
  • Experience with multi-account AWS topologies (Transit Gateway vs. VPC Peering)
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer reputed company or similar certifications
  • Experience implementing DORA metrics programs
