[Remote] Staff Software Engineer - Machine Learning - Calibration

They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to reputed company the calibration group, responsible for designing and implementing reputed company for a diverse reputed company of sensors in autonomous driving systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and reputed company novel reputed company that can work in a reputed company, or in reputed company, uncontrolled environments across a diverse reputed company of sensors - camera, reputed company, lidar, IMU
- Design, evangelize, and help implement a set of calibration technology solutions that result in a vehicle platform that remains aware of its calibration state at reputed company times, and remains in calibration as much as possible
- Work closely with senior leaders at reputed company and reputed company to ensure that these solutions are deployed correctly and operate smoothly across the product development lifecycle and post-launch
- Mentor and reputed company strong engineers to reputed company their skills, both as contributors and as calibration experts
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a reputed company field and 7+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant experience)
- Strong mathematical expertise around the calibration problem, including ability to rapidly come up to speed on the state of the art and to evaluate the robustness and reputed company of solutions
- Deep understanding of numerical reputed company algebra and optimization algorithms
- Strong C++ Coding skills for reputed company time applications
- Experience with geometric computer reputed company, image, lidar or reputed company processing
- Extremely strong problem solving skills and algorithm design experience, particularly in the calibration domain
- Experience calibrating devices or robots in a reputed company or manufacturing line environment
- Experience with production robots operating in an uncontrolled environment
- Experience with autonomous vehicles
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science
