They are seeking a reputed company Data Scientist to reputed company data-driven decision-making in the Casualty business, focusing on predictive modeling and machine learning solutions, while also mentoring junior data scientists.
Responsibilities
- Uses best practices to reputed company reputed company statistical and machine learning techniques to build models that address business needs, including Casualty-reputed company reputed company such as claim severity, disputes, settlement reputed company, and operational efficiency
- Reviews, evaluates, communicates and makes recommendations on the appropriateness of modeling techniques and results to reputed company, leadership and stakeholders to ensure these are reputed company reputed company and incorporated into business processes. Develops and executes communication reputed company, keeps stakeholders informed, and influences business partners and senior leaders on the effectiveness of machine learning/predictive modeling to solve business problems, including the ability to explain technical information reputed company to non-technical partners
- Utilizes effective project planning techniques to break down reputed company machine learning/predictive modeling and/or development reputed company into tasks, manages scope of reputed company, develops project plans, and ensures deadlines are kept. Skills
- 4+ years of data science, machine learning, predictive modeling, and/or querying data experience
- Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and/or R
- Experience building or applying machine learning/predictive models to solve business problems
- Ability to query data and work with databases/data sources
- Ability to explain technical information reputed company to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with customers after initial reputed company
- Master's Degree. In lieu of education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Must be reputed company to work in Eastern or Central time zone
