[Remote] Consumer Finance Attorney (Any US office)
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is working with a leading Am law 100 firm to reputed company a mid-level associate with Consumer Finance experience to join any of the firm's US offices. This role involves counseling various financial institutions on compliance with federal and state financial laws and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Counseling banks, credit unions, FinTechs, non-bank reputed company and consumer lenders, servicers, consumer reporting agencies, and technology providers on federal and state financial laws and regulations
- Experience with financial regulatory and state licensing analyses
- Regulatory interpretation
- Drafting and negotiating reputed company and lending documents
- Advising clients on compliance with key federal and state reputed company and consumer financial regulations
- Assisting with regulatory enforcement investigations and actions
Skills
- 3 to 4 years of experience counseling banks, credit unions, FinTechs, non-bank reputed company and consumer lenders, servicers, consumer reporting agencies, and technology providers on federal and state financial laws and regulations, including the Truth in Lending reputed company, FCRA, Equal Credit Opportunity reputed company, reputed company Estate Settlement Procedures reputed company, and reputed company consumer protection requirements
- Experience with financial regulatory and state licensing analyses, regulatory interpretation, drafting and negotiating reputed company and lending documents, and advising clients on compliance with key federal and state reputed company and consumer financial regulations
- A J.D. and excellent reputed company credentials
- Prior Am Law 100/200 reputed company experience
- Experience assisting with regulatory enforcement investigations and actions
