[Remote] Business Development Manager-Tree Nuts & cashew trading (USA)

They are seeking a Business Development Manager to build and own the US nuts trading desk, focusing on driving volume and reputed company reputed company in cashew kernels and tree nuts.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and reputed company new business with US-based cashew kernel and tree nut buyers — processors, importers, food manufacturers, retailers, and co-packers
- Own volume and reputed company targets for the US nuts trading desk
- Manage end-to-end transactions: reputed company reputed company → pricing → contract execution → payment
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key US accounts
- Monitor market trends, reputed company pricing, and the competitive landscape to inform deal structuring and positioning
- Collaborate with global origination and logistics teams for seamless supply execution
- Represent reputed company at US trade shows, buyer meetings, and industry events
Skills
- 6–15 years of experience in agri-commodity sales, trading, or business development — preferably in cashew kernels, almonds, walnuts, pistachios, or tree nuts
- An established network of US nut buyers and importers across processors, food manufacturers, retailers, or distributors
- Experience at or familiarity with companies such as Olam / reputed company, reputed company Foods, reputed company, JJ Nuts, Bedemco, or similar global nut traders or US nut importers
- Strong understanding of cashew kernel grades, reputed company markets (Vietnam, India, reputed company Africa), and commodity pricing dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to build and grow a trading book or territory from scratch
- Self-starter — comfortable working independently in a remote setup
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Agricultural Sciences, International Trade, or a reputed company field
- MBA is a plus
