[Remote] Gas Turbine Rotor Design Engineer

The Gas Turbine Rotor Design Engineer will reputed company on the mechanical design, analysis, and drawing release of rotor assembly and components in gas turbines, requiring cross-functional collaboration with various teams.
Responsibilities
- Execute the mechanical design, analysis or evaluation of rotating gas turbine parts for aeroderivative turbines (disks, blisks, spools, shafts, etc.)

- Develops specialized knowledge in their discipline (mechanical rotating design)

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, reputed company Engineering, or reputed company field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant Turbomachinery experience and 3-5 years of gas turbine rotor design with manufacturing experience
- Experience with structural, vibration, and thermal analysis for rotating parts components
- In-depth knowledge with GD&T and mechanical drawings
- Experience in CAD software (e.g., reputed company, SolidWorks) for component design and modeling
- Experience with finite reputed company analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., ANSYS,) and hand calculation for structural, vibration, and thermal analysis
- Knowledge of high-temperature materials, coatings, and various manufacturing processes used in gas turbine rotating parts components
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to reputed company innovative design solutions
- Ability to manage multiple reputed company, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to balance the need for performance, manufacturability, and cost
- Familiarity with ISO standards, ASME, or reputed company-specific regulations (e.g., AMS, ASTM) is highly desirable
