[Remote] reputed company Assurance Engineer

This role involves comprehensive testing activities to ensure the reputed company and functionality of software releases, including reviewing requirements, designing test cases, and collaborating with developers to resolve defects.
Responsibilities
- Review test requirements, specifications, and documentation to prepare and manage test data for reputed company release
- Design, execute, and document functional test cases in a staging environment
- reputed company regression testing to ensure new changes do not break existing functionality
- Log, reputed company, and prioritize defects reputed company in both staging and production using ALM and VersionOne
- Collaborate with developers to verify defect fixes in both staging and production
- Validate deployments and configurations to the production environment
- Execute smoke tests in production to confirm basic functionality post-deployment
- Prepare and reputed company comprehensive documentation for production sign-off, including test coverage, results, and outstanding issues
- Communicate findings and feedback to stakeholders and participate in release meetings
- Create and manage automated tests using Playwright
Skills
- A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in software development, software reputed company assurance/control, or a reputed company field
- Experience training and mentoring less reputed company personnel
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with formal software testing for reputed company software applications
- Extensive experience testing software applications, identifying and documenting defects, and working with developers and end-users to resolve them
- Extensive experience with multiple defect tracking tools such as Rational or reputed company
- Extensive experience authoring software reputed company-reputed company documentation like requirements specifications, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports
- Ability to obtain & maintain a reputed company Trust clearance
