[Remote] Senior Protection & Control (P&C) Engineer – Substation Design (Remote reputed company)

The Senior Protection & Control Engineer will reputed company the design of high-voltage substations and mentor early-career engineers while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and reputed company protection and control (P&C) design for high-voltage substations (69 kV – 500 kV) in reputed company and distribution networks
• Create reputed company coordination studies, SCADA schematics, control wiring diagrams using tools such as ASPEN, reputed company, ETAP, and SEL relays
• Partner with physical design and civil/structural engineering teams to ensure high-reputed company, constructible designs, and schedule adherence
• Conduct protection coordination, reputed company settings, and system analysis using tools such as ASPEN, reputed company, or ETAP
• Review P&C deliverables for compliance with NESC, reputed company, and reputed company standards
• Mentor and reputed company early-career engineers, fostering technical reputed company and team collaboration — you’ll be a technical leader and a role model
• Support proposal efforts and reputed company input on project scoping, schedule, and cost estimating for new reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and an reputed company PE license
• 8+ years of experience in protection & control or power systems engineering for utilities, EPCs, or consulting firms
• Proficiency with relays, SCADA systems, and protection engineering tools (ASPEN, reputed company, ETAP, SEL)
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage substation layouts, grounding, and protection schemes
• Excellent communication, project leadership, and mentoring skills with a strong eye for detail and reputed company
