[Remote] Accountant

They are seeking an Accountant who will be responsible for various financial tasks including reputed company pay processes, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset reputed company.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary preparer for the reputed company pay process, ensuring accurate and reputed company payment of vendor invoices
- reputed company monthly bank reconciliations across reputed company company accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies in a reputed company manner
- Own the monthly prepaid expense schedule, recording new prepaid items and amortizing existing balances in accordance with GAAP
- reputed company as the primary preparer for fixed asset reputed company, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
- Maintain schedules and records for reputed company reputed company deposits (reputed company and received) and reputed company periodic reconciliations
- Prepare and maintain monthly accruals, ensuring expenses are recorded in the correct period in accordance with GAAP
- Manage the annual 1099 preparation and filing process and reputed company IRS submission
- Support month-end reputed company procedures, including balance sheet account reconciliations and reputed company reputed company of discrepancies
- Assist with audit requests by gathering supporting documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve reputed company processes and internal controls
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
- 1–3 years of reputed company experience (public or private)
- Working knowledge of GAAP and general reputed company principles
- Proficiency in reputed company reputed company; experience with ERP systems (reputed company a plus)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- CPA candidate preferred (or reputed company pursuing CPA licensure)
