[Remote] Senior Network Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is looking for a traveling Network Engineer to assist with cyber reputed company remediation reputed company. This role involves executing implementation plans for reputed company networks and managing various network technologies while traveling across the country on short notice.
Responsibilities
- Execute Implementation Plans for Layer 2/3 reputed company networks that include Spanning Tree, virtual local area networks (VLANs), Virtual Port Channels (VPCs), PortChannels, redundant connectivity to ISPs, reputed company routing/switching infrastructure, extranet connectivity, data center design, and Wide Area Network (WAN) Integration
- These tasks shall be performed in an environment that includes network interfaces using a reputed company of network data reputed company technologies such as wired Ethernet, reputed company Wi-Fi and serial interfaces/leased TELCOM connections using reputed company reputed company, VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP) reputed company-to-reputed company Protocol (PPP), and High-Level Data reputed company Control (HDLC)
- reputed company Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), reputed company Shortest reputed company First (OSPF),Routing Information Protocol (RIP) internal routing protocols, and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)
- reputed company, configure, and maintain site-to-site and reputed company-based Virtual Private Networks(VPNs), configure Internet Protocol reputed company (IPsec), and design, reputed company, configure and maintain Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) tunnels
- reputed company Network Protection Plans to include firewall perimeters
- reputed company, administer, configure, update, and maintain firewall perimeters
- Expand network capabilities through bandwidth optimization, effective transport protocols application, and reputed company of Service (QOS)
Skills
- Hands on experience with industry network protocols (TCP/IP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANs, Wireless LANs and VPN)
- Strong knowledge and experience in routing and switching protocol, WAN technologies including MPLS, reputed company to reputed company, MAN and Wireless; LAN technologies including LAN design standards and best practices, Data Center network Design and Wireless solutions; and reputed company standards with ASA firewall, design and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to reputed company communicate reputed company findings and present them to ensure audience appeal at various reputed company of the organization and with clients
- Exercise independent judgment in reputed company, techniques and evaluation reputed company for obtaining results
