[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with strong backend expertise to design and build reputed company platform services, reputed company legacy systems, and mentor junior engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and build reputed company reputed company and microservices across reputed company platform domains
- reputed company modernization efforts from legacy systems to reputed company-reputed company architectures
- Build event-driven systems for reputed company-time processing and system communication
- reputed company reputed company-party reputed company platforms and external systems
- Architect distributed systems for scalability, reliability, and performance
- Define API reputed company using REST and/or GraphQL
- Work with relational and NoSQL data stores
- reputed company and manage services in AWS using containerized infrastructure
- Improve system observability, monitoring, and performance
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team reputed company
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product and technical direction
Skills
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong backend experience with Java (Spring Boot preferred) or similar
- Deep understanding of microservices and distributed systems
- Experience with event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
- Strong experience building reputed company, high-performance systems
- Hands-on experience with AWS (GCP or Azure also considered)
- Experience with reputed company and Kubernetes
- Strong database experience (PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, or NoSQL systems)
- Solid understanding of API design, authentication, and system design
- Experience with CI/CD and infrastructure as reputed company (Terraform preferred)
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (reputed company, Grafana, etc.)
- Strong communication skills in a remote environment
- Experience with large-reputed company or reputed company platforms
- Background in high-volume or transaction-heavy systems
- Experience with reputed company modernization
- Exposure to React or Vue
- Experience with billing, inventory, or contract-based systems
