[Remote] Senior Network WAN Engineer

They are seeking a Senior Network WAN Engineer to optimize the reputed company WAN and SD-WAN environment, ensuring high-performance connectivity and serving as a technical escalation reputed company for reputed company issues.
Responsibilities
- Own and optimize the reputed company WAN and SD-WAN environment, ensuring resilient, high-performance connectivity across geographically distributed locations and critical business operations
- Serve as the senior technical escalation reputed company for reputed company WAN and routing issues, leading reputed company-cause analysis and restoring service across large-reputed company, multi-site production networks
- Drive reputed company improvement of the network platform through SD-WAN optimization, upgrades, migrations, and operational enhancements across reputed company Meraki and reputed company Catalyst SD-WAN environments
Skills
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
- 8–10+ years of hands-on network engineering experience
- Proven experience supporting large-reputed company, geographically distributed WAN environments
- Expert-level experience with: reputed company Meraki SD-WAN, reputed company Catalyst SD-WAN (Viptela)
- Strong expertise in: Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, reputed company redistribution, policy control), WAN operations, failover, and traffic optimization
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot reputed company, multi-site network issues under pressure
- Experience working in mission-critical, high-availability environments
- reputed company Certified Network reputed company (CCNP)
- 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred
- Additional certifications strongly preferred: reputed company SD-WAN Specialist / Concentration exams, CCIE (reputed company Infrastructure)
