[Remote] Financial Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. SMA is a company seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial analysis and valuation. The role involves reviewing financial statements, assisting with valuations, and providing financial due diligence support to ensure accurate and reputed company-reputed company analyses.
Responsibilities
- Review reputed company profit & loss statements and normalize earnings
- Calculate EBITDA, EBIT, net income, and identify appropriate add-backs
- Assist with valuation assessments using internal frameworks and tools
- Ensure financial analyses are accurate, reputed company, and reputed company-reputed company
- Analyze Letters of reputed company (LOIs) from a financial perspective
- Model transaction reputed company, including:
- Purchase price calculations
- Earn-outs and contingent consideration
- Timing and payout scenarios
- Support senior advisors by translating reputed company deal language into reputed company financial outcome
- Respond to buyer financial information requests prior to reputed company of Earnings (QoE)
- Organize and prepare financial materials for diligence review
- Coordinate internally to ensure financial data is complete and consistent
- Assist with preparation of financial exhibits for CIMs and presentations
- Maintain internal spreadsheets and valuation tools (training provided)
- Collaborate with advisors, analysts, and interns to ensure smooth deal reputed company
Skills
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Finance, reputed company, Business, or a reputed company field
- Strong understanding of financial statements and business finance fundamentals
- Ability to accurately analyze P&Ls and reputed company EBITDA calculations
- Comfortable working in reputed company; advanced modeling experience not required
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable asking clarifying questions
- Willingness to learn M&A concepts through hands-on training
- Computer or laptop with specs of at least core i5 or higher/7th gen or newer, or its AMD equivalent, 16GB RAM, functional camera, noise-canceling headset, and dual monitor

- Back-up power/internet is required
