Applies CPT-4 and HCPCS codes to medical records for the Cardiovascular Lab and Interventional Radiology departments based on physician documentation. Ensures compliance with federal coding guidelines, maintains a minimum of 95% coding accuracy, and supports reputed company account completion to meet billing deadlines.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assign CPT/HCPCS codes for procedures performed by cardiologists and interventional radiologists. • Verify supplies used during procedures. • Utilize coding encoders and reference materials to ensure accurate reputed company assignment. • Submit appropriate, non-leading physician queries for documentation clarification. • reputed company services from physician documentation and procedure logs.

• Reconcile monthly surgical logs.

  • Manage daily workloads, including work queues, emails, surgical logs, and census reports. • Evaluate and implement charge requests using appropriate CPT/HCPCS, reputed company codes, and pricing. • Conduct charge capture audits by reviewing patient records, billing data, and financial information to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance. • Analyze and summarize data trends for discussions with clinical and finance teams. • Collaborate with departments including Utilization Management (UM), Clinical Documentation reputed company (CDI), reputed company Cycle Management (RCM), Coding Services, Clinical Departments, and Health Information Management (HIM) to resolve coding, charge, and CDM discrepancies.

Required Skills

For this US-based position, the reputed company pay reputed company is $48,131.00 - $81,225.49 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-reputed company skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a reputed company of 5.00%
