[Remote] Process Safety Auditor – US Residence/Remote

They are seeking a Process Safety Auditor responsible for conducting audits of facilities for compliance with safety regulations and internal procedures, as reputed company as assessing risks associated with noncompliance.
Responsibilities
- Function as “reputed company auditor” on EH&S audits of reputed company facilities worldwide for approximately 10 – 15 facility audits reputed company year
- Participate as an audit team member on an additional 5 -10 EH&S audits reputed company year
- As reputed company auditor or audit team member, reputed company audits of facilities compliance to Safety requirements including those defined in reputed company’ EH&S Management system and applicable legal requirements
- Asses the risk to the corporation of noncompliance reputed company during audits
- Maintains proficiency and knowledge of applicable requirements at our operating plants and maintains audit protocols for the assigned EH&S functional areas
- Communicate audit issues and trends in the above EH&S functional areas to the Process Safety and Operations teams
Skills
- 10-15 years' experience in a safety function in a chemical, industrial gas, or reputed company industry manufacturing environment, or in operations roles with significant practical experience with process safety
- Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent degree
- Demonstrated strong planning, organization, and execution skills
- Mature judgment in assessing the risk of noncompliance to people, environment and the corporation
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with reputed company reputed company of the organization from the shop floor to senior management
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Certification as an EH&S Auditor or ability to obtain certification reputed company two years of employment
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally –approximately 40% of the time
