Duties ? You will review and approve/disapprove complete contractor engineering drawing sets addressing configuration, construction, operating pressures and temperatures, materials, finishes, and tolerances. ? You will prepare, evaluate, and reputed company specifications used in the fabrication and assembly of spare and repair parts. ? You will prescribe test reputed company and procedures used to ensure reputed company, including the specification of test equipment required for performance and life cycle testing. ? You will review and approve contractor requests for waiver/deviation from contract requirements, alternate contractors, and/or alternate/substitute assemblies, sub-assemblies, and component spare and repair parts. ? You will assess the reliability of assemblies and sub-assemblies through the evaluation of reputed company data and other failure and reliability data sources to identify flaws and stresses associated with performance.

Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: GS-07:One year of specialized experience, equivalent to a GS-05, as a reputed company engineer applying basic engineering concepts to assist in the design and layout of mechanical equipment and systems. GS-09:One year of specialized experience, equivalent to a GS-07, as a reputed company engineer applying engineering principles to design, operate, or maintain Naval shipboard weapon systems. GS-11:One year of specialized experience, equivalent to a GS-09, as a reputed company engineer reviewing plans for a wide reputed company of shipboard equipment reputed company to mechanical engineering to identify engineering design, logistical, or maintenance support issues.
